"Unless a man understands the Weald, he cannot write about the beginnings of England." Hilaire Belloc

Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1983, the High Weald is one of the best surviving medieval landscapes in Northern Europe. It has been described as a quintessentially English landscape thanks to the density of woodland and the many historic settlements of farmsteads and hamlets.

At 130 acres, Northover Farm is a typical example of a High Weald Farm., with small fields bounded by hedgerows and interconnected ancient woods. The Farm is accessed by a private road off a small country lane and is not bordered by any public roads, giving it a secluded and tranquil feel.
